Skegss have managed to create quite the following for themselves by gaining props from some very reliable and esteemed sources, including winning last year’s triple j Unearthed Splendour in the Grass competition and signing to Dune Rats’ record label.

Now the Ratbag Records alumni have announced the release of their eagerly anticipated sophomore EP, Everyone Is Good At Something, and unveiled their first single from the release, the lo-fi mini-masterpiece ‘My Face’.

‘My Face’, which you can now stream below, is three minutes of garage-bred DIY rock and roll. According to singer Ben Ben Bograil, the song is about “feeling good and feeling bad – if yesterday sucked, make today not suck”.

The Byron-based band’s new seven-track EP, the follow-up to their debut, 50 Pushups for A Dollar, is set to drop Friday, 15th July via Ratbag Records. Keep an eye on these boys because they’ve got big things ahead of them.
