The Meeting Tree are Australia’s answer to Father John Misty. No, their music doesn’t sound anything alike, but they’re similar in that they may be our funniest musicians.
Their latest clip, for the single ‘Life Is Long: Slow Down!’ is just further proof of that fact. It features the duo as entertainers on a game show entitled ‘R U A Gronk?’.
The clip, which features cameos from Peking Duk alumni among others, was produced by the good people at Entropico, who’ve produced all of the duo’s clips, as well as work for Paces and more.
The single, meanwhile, was co-written by non-gronks Becky Lucas and Gen Fricker and is available as the title track on The Meeting Tree’s new EP, which you can check out here.
