Music Director at RTRFM

The tight-knit group at Perth community radio station RTRFM are on the hunt for a new Music Coordinator to oversee all music content at the station. You’ll serve as station’s main liaison with the music industry at large and you’ll determine the overall tone of the music that goes to air. You’ll have an excellent ear and an expansive knowledge of music at the local, national and international levels. You’ll also be equipped with a broad knowledge of RTRFM broadcasting and the community radio sector at large. Ideally you’ll have a few years in the music industry under your belt in the realms of publicity, broadcasting and/or editorial, and you’ll have a solid background with administration, working with volunteers

Announcer at Southern Cross Austereo

If you’ve got a voice for radio and a passion for the hits from ’80s through to today, you might like to join the close-knit team at Southern Cross Austereo, who are looking for a full-time announcer to work in their Gippsland, Victoria location. If you’re more behind-the-scenes, they’re also looking for an Account Manager and a Client Services Coordinator in their Brisbane office, which works with stations like Triple M and Hit105.

Marketing Manager at Universal Music Group

Universal Music Group (UMG) is a great name to have on the resume, and they’re on the lookout for a Marketing Manager who can work specifically with ‘Classics & Jazz’. André Rieu, Milos Karadaglic, Sol3 Mio, Renée Fleming, David Hobson, Andrea Bocelli, and Diana Krall are a few of the names you’ll have to work with, as well as big labels including Decca, Deutsche Grammophon, ABC Classics, Verve and BlueNote. If Classical, Adult contemporary and Jazz are your niche, you’ve got strong experience working in marketing – ideally music – and you’re up for managing a large and varied workload, apply before July 8.

Digital Media Style Writer at MTV

MTV Australia and New Zealand are after somebody with two years’ experience in writing for a website in a similar role, to produce content for the their digital platforms. You’ll be researching and sourcing content, publishing editorial, running social media and liasing with publicists, amongst a host of other tasks.

Client Services Coordinator at Oztix

Oztix are one of Australia’s biggest and most trusted ticketing retailers, with over 1 million ticket sales per year and a vast integrated distribution network. They’re on the hunt for a switched on and driven Client Services Coordinator to join their fun and dynamic Client Services team in Melbourne. You’ll have at least one year’s experience in a related field including experience in an entertainment environment excellent time management skills and outstanding attention to detail as well as the ability to prioritise work and work well under pressure.

You know triple j, they don’t really need an introduction. If you don’t, they’re just Australia’s long-running national youth broadcaster, no big thing. You also probably know Hack, the station’s trusted daily current affairs program. The Hack team are currently on the lookout for a Radio Producer to help them deliver the big stories that matter to Australia’s young people. You’ll be planning, pitching, researching and producing live and pre-recorded program material and will have an integral role in the way Hack goes to air each day.
