Sydney’s Motioner aka Rowan Cane has struck us with his newest track ‘Funeral’, a slow-burning melange of alt-rock and ambient electro that gives us a taste of what to expect from his upcoming debut album Black Wave.
‘Funeral’ features an array of shuffled textures pinned down by the stomp of kick and snare, and draped with layers of dulcet vocals. He’s made us wait a bit for this one – the last we heard from him was the textured single ‘Future Drunk’ over a year ago – but Black Wave will finally be out later this year.
