Aphex Twin is known for many things – being weird, having creepy album art, making mind-blowing music, and being weird. He’s also known for his music videos, which are widely regarded as some of the greatest of all time.

In particular, his clips for ‘Come To Daddy‘ and ‘Windowlicker‘, both collaborations with visionary director Chris Cunningham, are noted for pushing the boundaries of the music video and are a staple of programs like rage.

But for his latest video promoting ‘CIRKLON3 [ Колхозная mix ]’, a cut off his upcoming Cheetah EP, the Cornwall producer decided to eschew Cunningham’s visual flare for that of 12-year-old Dublin native Ryan Wyer.

According to a press release, via Consequence of Sound, Wyer came to Aphex Twin’s attention via his YouTube channel, epic1:40d Gaming. Honestly, the result is very Aphex Twin-ish. It’s no ‘Windowlicker’, but then again what is?
