Melbourne icons ScotDrakula have today released the first track from their next record, and it’s an emotional one.

In typical ScotDrakula style, the lyrics include dark nuggets like “Skeleton fever makes me feel free/Kisses my face when it fucks me”, the song serving as an ending and new beginning for the band in the wake of founding member Dove Bailey’s departure. The clip reflects on the band being pulled in different directions as they move into a new stage of their lives.

They’re about to head on a 15-date Australian tour as part of Up The Guts, with a lineup that includes Scott & Charlene’s Wedding, Ali E, Ben Wright Smith, and Jack & Jo – that’s Jack of Pretty Littles, and Jo of Big Scary (dates below).
