Sydney country/rock quintet Lazy Colts have just released ‘Twenty Two’, a slow-burning love letter tinged with both hope and mourning.

Their name is derived from that of singer Lacey Cole, who pours his heart into contemplative lyrics of love and loss – “I’ve never been less understood/And never been needed more” – as the band play a gentle eulogy.

‘Twenty Two’ is taken from Lazy Colts’ debut album Trojan, due for release on August 5, and you can catch Lazy Colts on their album tour immediately after (dates below).
