beneb is the alter-ego of Brisbane singer/songwriter Ben Mackay (formerly fronting Lesuits), who has just released his new single ‘Temporary’ – complete with a full-motion acid trip.
Built in collaboration with filmmaker Dave Hawkin, the clip starts out in rather drab fashion, before kicking off into the technicolour stratosphere as beneb tears into high power song, dance and rock.
A natural frontman, he’s joined in a live setting by members of The Cairos, Sheppard and Hey Geronimo, and you can catch him playing at Brisbane venue The Zoo on July 15 for Mountain Goat’s ‘Five Bands Five Bucks’.
