Frenzal Rhomb are set to celebrate 25 years as one of Australia’s most beloved bands by “repackaging a bunch of their old songs into a BRAND NEW RECORD, and then taking it on the road!” Hey, their words, not ours.
“Turning 25 is the best,” the band write. “You’ve finished uni, married the opposite-sex partner of your dreams, and now Dad & Mum are gonna help you buy that second investment property in Waterloo once the housing commission flats finally get bulldozed. It’s a fun age.”
Frenzal Rhomb are celebrating that fun age by releasing We Lived Like Kings (We Did Anything We Wanted), a new album of old Frenzal songs spanning their 25-year career, personally curated by the band.
The band will officially launch the album, which drops 19th August, with a huge national tour and best of all, each show will be by-request, so you the fans get to pick the setlist the band play each night.
