‘Sinners’ is the debut single from Melbourne singer MAYA, who has impressed us right off the bat.
Maya Weiss recently skipped over the Pacific to write and record in the U.S., and the end result was clearly worth the trip, as ‘Sinners’ is an immediate winner, with a powerful soul vocal that dips and sways over a slinky beat and wailing strings.
MAYA will be launching herself into a run of Melbourne shows over the coming months, playing the Paris Cat on July 29, The Evelyn on September 2, and with Jim Steinman at The Athenaeum on September 17.
