Here’s a beautiful 15 minutes of footage, as POND frontman (and former Tame Impala member) Nicholas Allbrook performs his gorgeous solo material in the intimate surrounds of a recycled boat.

Taken from his recent album Pure Gardiya, it’s a raw and delicate selection of tracks stripped of the bombast of the studio productions and beautifully realised with nothing but a microphone and an electric guitar.

The footage was shot by local filmmaker Sam Price as part of RTRFM’s The View From Here series, and the boat – built by local WA artist A Good Looking Man – was used as a pop up venue during Perth’s Fringe World 2016.

You can see earlier episodes of The View From Here, featuring the likes of Methyl Ethyl, Peter Bibby, Catlips and many more, over at the RTRFM website.
