Brisbane five-piece Sacred Shrines came screaming out of the gates this year.

Having only started playing together less than 12 months ago, they’ve already supported the likes of The Dandy Warhols, and have also spent that last year writing and recording their debut album ‘Come Down From The Mountain’. Moving through heavy grooves on the title track, to the drifting melodies of ‘Lights Are Green’, it’s an accomplished slab of psych-drenched rock.

The album is available now, and will be launched tonight with full force at Junk Bar in Brissy, followed by a four-date album tour:

Thursday 21st July – Album Release Party at Junk Bar, Brisbane
Friday 22nd July – Grace Emily, Adelaide
Saturday 23rd July – Grace Darling, Melbourne
Friday 29th July – The Bearded Lady, Brisbane
5th August 2016 – The Spotted Cow, Toowoomba
