The more you listen to Miles Brown, the more you get sucked in. Deeper and deeper into the pounding electronic beat you go, until you’re eventually spat out the other end, a mere four minutes later but with another life lived.

‘Electrics’ is the latest track from the Melbourne-via-Hobart artist’s debut album Séance Fiction, and is described as “An Australian gothic spiritual bogan love story” – the accompanying video certainly living up to any expectations you may have after reading that.

The rather unique clip was directed by one Bon Bon Espiritu (which we’re told is actually a pseudonym for none other than Chela), and blurs the line between low-budget ridiculousness and high-concept genius.  Miles’ knowing smile tells you everything you need to know.

Séance Fiction is out now on It Records in Australia, and Death Waltz Originals/Mondo in the US and UK.
