If you missed out on seeing your favourite bands at Splendour In The Grass this weekend, don’t despair for you are not alone. Northlane frontman Marcus Bridge was right there with you.

Bridge is apparently a huge fan of Manchester outfit The 1975 and was gutted when he couldn’t make his way down to Byron Bay to watch the band play, but found an alternative.

Taking to Twitter, the frontman for the Sydney metalcore outfit revealed that he recorded a cover of The 1975’s ‘Robbers’ in order to “celebrate not seeing them AGAIN“.

“It’s been a long time since I’ve posted something and I’ve wanted to cover this song for a long time. I found an Instrumental floating around the internet and recorded my vocals in Forry,” he continued on YouTube.

“Enjoy my rendition of Robbers by The 1975 in celebration of not getting to see them for the 50th time that they’ve come to Australia!” Check out the sterling rendition below.
