Sometimes you come across a totally pointless and unnecessary item on the internet that you know would be an utterly self-indulgent and wasteful purchase. But who cares, these new Daft Punk action figures are so cool!
As Gizmodo reports, toymaker Medicom have issued several Daft Punk action figures in the past, but their latest line is a throwback to the French house duo’s costumes circa 2001’s Discovery and they light up.
Let us just repeat that: they light up. The helmets have tiny little LED lights inside them that actually light up like Guy-Manuel de Homen-Christo and Thomas Bangalter’s actual helmets. How freaking cool is that?
And they only set you back $256 each… y’know, like, just $500 give or take for the two of them. But it’s totally worth it because they have light-up helmets! We have until May of next year to save our pennies.
