Legendary Smiths frontman and all-round alternative icon Morrissey was in the country not too long ago as part of Sydney’s Vivid Festival, but it looks like he’s returning sooner than we originally thought.

They recently posted a series of upcoming international tour dates under the title ‘Morrissey Shows Confirmed‘ and included are five Australian headline performances set for Melbourne, Adelaide, Canberra, Wollongong, and Newcastle.
The list also includes dates for the US and Asia and if the dates are indeed “confirmed” (no official press release has yet been revealed) you can expect Festival Hall and the Thebarton Theatre to be ridding themselves of all meat very soon.
