The customisation app has been a staple of the footwear world for some time. Both Nike and Converse allow you to design your own pair of fresh kicks suited to your own unique tastes, which you can actually place an order for.

You choose everything from the material to the design or print, the colour of the sole, and the laces, and then you usually take a screenshot and show it to your friends because you don’t actually want to fork over the money.

Well, now you can do the exact same thing with guitars. Fender recently launched their Mod Shop, which allows you to build your own, fully customised Fender guitar and have it made to your specifications and sent to you in 30 days.

But probably you won’t once you see the price tag. Regardless, the app is actually pretty cool. You can select everything from the model — Strat, Tele, Precision Bass, or Jazz Bass — to the colour, the pickups, the neck, the bridge, and more.
