Hot on the heels of a barn-burning Splendour In The Grass performance and being tapped to perform alongside Garbage and The Temper Trap as part of A Day On The Green, The Preatures have returned with a new single, ‘I Know A Girl’.

The track got its first live appearance at the GW McLennan tent at Splendour In The Grass over the weekend and was premiered via triple j yesterday. The New Wave-tinged track is powerful, poppy, and most of all, pure Preatures.

“I know a girl is about the sisterhood, girls’ relationships and how they talk about each other,” said inimitable Preatures frontwoman Isabella Manfredi of the new single, which was produced and mixed by guitarist Jack Moffitt.

Since dropping their acclaimed debut full-length, Blue Planet Eyes, back in 2014, The Preatures have been busy touring around Australia and the world, in addition to writing and recording in anticipation of their second album.
