Every year in August, Toronto becomes the hip-hop capital in the world when Drake kicks off his annual OVO Fest, which is always a massive affair and in its seventh year, nothing has changed.

OVO Fest always packs a huge lineup and plenty of special guests and according to Complex, this year saw appearances from Rihanna, Future, and none other than Kanye West coming out to join Drake.

It was Yeezy’s appearance that sent fans into a frenzy, however, when the outspoken rapper teased the crowd with the promise of a forthcoming collaborative album between himself and Drake.

West joined Drake to perform a selection of cuts from West’s latest album, The Life of Pablo, including ‘Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1’ and the controversial ‘Famous’.

He also performed his mega-hit ‘Runaway’ and the Drake-West power-duo performed their collaboration ‘Pop Style’, with West asking the audience, “Are you all ready for this album?”
