‘Maylands The Brave’ is the new single from Perth-based drummer/producer Pete Guazzelli aka Ghost Drums.
Downcast yet hopeful, the track is is a love song to the inner-city Perth suburb of Maylands, and features guest vocals from Perth balladeer Josh Fontaine of local stalwarts 6’s & 7’s. The accompanying video, meanwhile, was filmed entirely on Super8 by Perth filmmaker Andrew Ewing.
It’s the first taste of an upcoming EP from Ghost Drums’ new EP Imprax, due out in October.
