We recently reported on the fact that former Silverchair frontman Daniel Johns has been busying himself in the studio with the likes of Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder, homegrown pop sensation Sia, Soundgarden’s Chris Cornell, and more.
Johns is currently serving as musical director and arranger on Beat Bugs, a new animated children’s television show which features a soundtrack comprised of Beatles classics, covered by more contemporary artists.
As a result, Johns has served as producer on more than 30 songs from The Beatles catalogue, in addition to contributing various character vocals, and composing some of the show’s original music. Oh, and working on his solo career too.
