Chance The Rapper wants you to share his music with as many people as possible. Fortunately for you, he has made it pretty easy to do so.

On August 16th the rap star unveiled Rapper Radio to the world, a crowd-sourced campaign to get independent artists and musicians on the radio.

Featuring a pretty barebones website, Rapper Radio requires fans to enter the name of their city after which the site will generate a suggested tweet tagging a local radio station, in our case it was Triple J.

Currently the website only allows you to tweet about ‘No Problem’ and ‘Summer Friends’ but will no doubt see an expansion to the roster in the future.

“I want you to share my music in whatever city you’re in with as many people as possible,” the rapper stated on Facebook. “The radio is like a huge listening party for people of all demographics to get in tune. In those moments it’s mad ppl in harmony.”

Chance said the promotion would take effect “over the next few weeks”. The response had been almost immediate with the site crashing a mere 17 minutes after the first tweet had been sent out.

If Chance gets his way Rapper Radio won’t be going anywhere any time soon. “It’s time to really show ppl what independent music can do,” he said via Twitter.
