Melbourne folk singer River Blue aka Lachlan Duthie has dropped his debut single ‘Iron Rivers’, evoking the ideal of hopping a train and escaping it all.

River Blue’s freewheelin’ brand of electric folk draws influences from music icons such as Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, and Adam Granduciel (War On Drugs), and the title was inspired by a particularly poetic train announcer telling Lachlan and his carriage-mates to “sit back and relax as we ride the iron rivers”.

‘Iron Rivers’ is the first track off upcoming EP Young At Heart, which is set to be released later this year.
