Melbourne’s six piece pop, rock and soul group The Harlots have just released their latest single ‘Umma Gumma.’

The track, which is pretty much guaranteed to make you move, is the band’s first release since their 2014 EP Course Tunes; Part 1 and 2. If ‘Umma Gumma’ s anything to go by, their upcoming debut album is going to be a ripper.

As for the weird name? “It was originally called ‘Heartbreaker’,” the band explain, “but because of the complete lack of diction in the chorus line, “I’m gonna leave ya,” we decided ‘Umma Gumma’ was appropriate.” Fair enough!

The Harlots are preparing for a nationwide tour in October/November to coincide with the release of their new record.
