For the past two decades, Tony Simon, better known to the masses as Blockhead, has been making some of the most unique, funky, instrumental hip-hop to come out of New York City.

With five albums to his name all on the highly respected Ninja Tune record label, Blockhead is now set to make his way Down Under for a tour that will take him up and down the East Coast.

In addition to his solo instrumental work, Blockhead has produced for the likes of Aesop Rock, as well as artists as diverse and esteemed as Atmosphere, Murs, Mike Ladd, and Illogic.

A formidable live performer, Blockhead has kept his chops sharp touring with the likes of Aesop Rock, DJ Cam, Amon Tobin, Bonobo, Kid Koala, Cold Cut, Emancipator, and many others.
