After a five year wait, Bon Iver have released the first official single off their highly anticipated third album, 22, A Million. While the band dropped two songs earlier this month, ’33 GOD’ has been named the official lead single from the new record.

Justin Vernon and Co. recently performed the album in its entirety live at the Eaux Claires Music & Arts Festival, triple j reports, and have announced a string of dates both in America and elsewhere in the world.

The band’s recent stint at Sydney’s Vivid LIVE back in May means there is no word on if or when the group will return to Australia in support of the new record, but for now fans can stream the single, alongside the trippy lyric video, on the group’s website.

In addition to the fairly mysterious new track, they’ve also shared the following cryptic image on social media.
