You know Josh Homme as the guitarist in Kyuss, the commander in chief in Queens of the Stone Age, the drummer in Eagles of Death Metal, one third of Them Crooked Vultures, and the primary conspirator of the Desert Sessions.

But you may not be aware of Homme’s turn as an actor in a sitcom. Homme, who’s been noted for how funny he is in interviews, appeared on an episode of the British sitcom Toast of London back in 2014.

For those who don’t spend much time in an ABC Shop, Toast of London stars Matt Berry, who’s previously appeared on The IT Crowd, The Mighty Boosh, and Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace.

Berry plays an eccentric actor and Homme makes a cameo appearance in an episode in which he plays Berry’s love rival. You can check out the episode in its entirety in the embed below. Homme appears about 18 minutes in.

According to Team Rock, Homme’s wife, former Distillers frontwoman Brody Dalle, is the half-sister of series regular Morgana Robinson, which led to Homme showing up in the episode. We’re gonna go back to waiting for the next QOTSA album now.
