One of Australia’s most beloved bands, Regurgitator, recently announced they will be hitting the road this October to invite fans to a night of “hazardous material”. The band’s 2016 Human Distribution Tour is finally going to clean up this country.
The band have now announced that none other than Jeremy Neale will be joining the tour as support. One of Australia’s favourite indie pop songwriters, Neale is best known for his quirky output as a solo artist and his involvement with Velociraptor.
Regurg have also announced they will be donating a few dollars per ticket from all the shows to the Asylum Seekers Resource Centre. “We feel it is important in the face of a dispassionate and inhuman government policy to extend egalitarian support where possible,” they wrote.
The band have had a busy year so far, most recently appearing at the Melbourne Community Cup for the Reclink charity football event, which saw them taking the stage to jam with the likes of Waleed Aly, Dan Sultan, and Tim Rogers.
“So let’s get serious here,” the band write, “decontaminate the earth of all the superfluous crap floating around. Time to lift the productivity outcomes, use this window of opportunity to drive momentum, tick all the boxes and raise those much celebrated efficiency stats.”
