When Chance the Rapper isn’t inventing new apps, he is being an all around top guy and saving fans from scalpers.

The emcee has reportedly bought up nearly 2000 tickets to his own Magnificent Coloring Day festival from scalpers and re-sold them to fans for their original price, hurting his bank account but saving fans that missed out on tickets in the process.

The sold-out event, which features the likes of Skrillex, John Legend, Alicia Keys and Chance himself amongst others, had fallen victim to scumbags buying out stacks of tickets in an attempt to resell them at inflated prices – upwards of $200USD.

“I took the tickets back from the scalpers, that shit gotta be historic,” Chance tweeted.

“I took back almost 2k #MCD tix from fuckboy scalpers and made them into physicals. And these are just floor seats,” he added,
alongside an image of all the tickets he made available on his website for $45 or $75.

Chance has since tweeted letting everyone know that the 2000 tickets have well and truly sold out.

While ultimately the scalpers still made off with some cash in this case, it’s admirable to see something done to help fans out of a garbage situation.
