The Plot is more than just a music festival, it’s food, it’s drinks, it’s clothes, it’s community. Located just a half hour train trip away from Sydney’s Central Station in the “Brooklyn of Sydney” AKA Parramatta.

The first thing you need for a full day at Parramatta Park is food and drinks, obviously. Being spoiled for choice this year, for your bites an bevs you could grab some grub at Jarrod’s Shakes ‘n’ Snags or Bella Shack Burger, and wash it down with some Hillbilly Cider or a little something from the Australian Brewery – just to name a few options.

Don’t get lost in the food, drinks and music, because the community groups at The Plot make the day. This year you’ll met with groups such as Decks for Change who create decorative skateboard decks “aimed at creating awareness of important issues to inspire positive change in the world and give well-deserved exposure to local artists, illustrators and graphic designers,” and Queen Babs who uses her craft of yarning to create a happier, more colourful city as a way to raise awareness and battle chronic illnesses.

The Plot will take place Saturday, 19th November as the Monument (grasslands) and Old Government House, Parramatta Park, Sydney, the day is all ages but 16+ recommended.

The music lineup for The Plot can be found here, and for more information about The Plot, the food and drinks available and the full list of community groups head their website.
