In these increasingly divided and heated times, if there’s one thing we can all as a nation agree on it’s that Redfoo sucks. No, he doesn’t deserve to get glassed, but his music is awful at best, misogynistic at worst, and he just seems like a cow pat of a person.

Turns out, his own flesh and blood feels the same way.

In an extensive Facebook post, 8ky (formerly SkyBlu), Redfoo’s former bandmate in LMFAO and his nephew in real life, rips his uncle a new one, accusing Redfoo of hijacking the LMFAO brand, shutting him out of the band, and generally acting like a garbage human.

“Ive been wanting to speak my truth about this whole LMFAO situation for a looooooooong time,” 8ky writes. “Out of respect to our family I kept it all to myself.” But then 8ky got a call from his lawyer, who informed him that Redfoo is claiming he alone is entitled to all of LMFAO’s royalties.

“The way you belittle people and your crazy power trips was some of the main reasons our relationship as family and partnership has greatly suffered,” sky continues. “Unlike you I didn’t take the LMFAO brand for myself.”

“Your whole vibe and style since our last show together is completely a half ass version of LMFAO. My back went out right before a big arena show [in 2011], you went out and performed but then just left on the tour bus without seeing me…”

“In fact you didn’t speak to me after that for about a year… Which is around the time you announced our hiatus. As someone who really cared, loved and had your back this really hurt ….. I mean … your my uncle!! My blood!!!”

“You even kept touring as LMFAO and made a lot of money doing it. You never once called me to ask me how I was recovering you just kept shuffling everyday without me. I really loved you, I looked up to you man, but the more successful we got, the more you wanted control.”

“You tried to sell happiness, but you’re not a happy person. no matter how hard you try Lmfao will never be the same with out me.. so therefore it will never be the same.” So it looks like that LMFAO reunion we were all hoping for isn’t going to happen.
