Here we have a new one from Sydney ‘electro-skank’ outfit Gold Member, the slinky reggae-infused jam ‘Stick The Moon’.

Apparently all about relishing one’s failures, it’s a laid-back arvo vibe on this one, elements of ’90s hip hop percussion mingling with wailing guitars for that perfect dose of summer festie singalong chill.

These guys have made a name for themselves supporting the likes of Boo Seeka and Sticky Fingers, and have also found their way onto the Festival of the Sun lineup this year, with a few more festival lineups promised. They’ll also be playing a few Victorian dates of their own in December, bringing the groove to Melbourne’s The Workers Club on the 1st, and Rye’s Baha Tacos on the 3rd.

‘Stick The Moon’ is out now through Sureshaker music, and available for your listening pleasure below.
