Alternative rock heroes L7 are set to arrive Down Under in just three weeks to embark on a national tour hitting up Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne, and they’ve now announced an extra treat for their Melbourne fans.

With the band’s first date at 170 Russell on Tuesday, 11th October sold out, the band have asked their good friends from back in the day Cosmic Psychos to join them for their show at 170 on Wednesday, 12th October.

L7 and Cosmic Psychos go way back. The band’s song ‘Fuel My Fire’ from their acclaimed 1994 album Hungry For Stink (later covered by The Prodigy on The Fat of the Land) is in fact based on Cosmic Psychos’s ‘Lost Cause’.

Of course, Australians know Cosmic Psychos as one of favourite punk rock exports and one of our most influential bands. Having inspired everyone from indie bands around Australia to the grunge bands of Seattle, Cosmic Psychos are icons of Aussie music.

Don’t miss your chance to see both bands in one night. Check below for all dates and details.
