Matt Corby hit up the triple j studios this morning to drop a soulful, jazzy cover of the Australian pop classic ‘Chains’ by Tina Arena. It was awesome, but maybe not enough to sate the rock pigs out there.

Luckily, one of Australia’s favourite axe-wielding crew have delivered the goods. Violent Soho have just unveiled a raucous live cover of ‘The Prick’ by Dogs on Acid, which they recorded whilst in Los Angeles.

“While we were in LA we dropped by the SideOneDummy Records office and recorded this cover of Dogs on Acid’s ‘The Prick’. Hope you dig it!” they wrote on Facebook. If you hadn’t heard, the band are tearing it up all over the States.

They’re set to wrap their tour in Detroit this week before making their way back over to Australia to embark on one of the biggest tours of their career. They’ll be playing some huge venues with good mates The Bronx all next month.
