Looking for something to justify your general disdain for humankind? Well, look no further! Youtube sensation TechRax, known for his various iPhone-related stress test videos, has released a very informative tutorial unveiling a ‘secret hack’ Apple doesn’t want you to know about.

Apple has notoriously ditched the long-standardised 3.5mm headphone jack in hopes buyers will pay a whopping premium for new wireless earbuds, but TechRax has offered his subscribers a solution – one that involves plunging a drill into their shiny new devices.

Seemingly, some people actually bought into the hoax of drilling into their iPhone 7s, and immediately began blaming the youtube star for their misfortune. While a lot of the comments are obviously joking, or even feeding the flames of the massive troll, we can’t help but feel that at least a couple of them may just be genuine.

Racking up 90,000 dislikes and a plethora of comments pleading for help, the vid has garnered TechRax over 12m views. Even if only a handful of those people have found themselves duped by the vid, we can’t help but shake our heads in disbelief and evoke the classic Professor Farnsworth quote of “I don’t want to live on this planet anymore.”

For those who fell for the trick, we’re hoping the experience sticks with them for a lifetime, and they’ll think twice before attempting their next incredible life hack.
