In addition to being the frontman of the world-beating Tame Impala, Kevin Parker is also a hot commodity as a producer for internationally famous pop stars right now, but right now he’s busying himself with a little-known side-project.

Taking to the official Tame Impala Instagram recently, Parker shared some photos of himself in the studio, including one snap where he’s sitting behind a drum kit with Pond frontman and former Tame Impala member Nick Allbrook at the mic.

“Gettin the band back together,” Parker wrote, alongside the hashtag #minkmusselcreek. For those playing catch-up, Mink Mussel Creek is the name of one of Parker’s side-projects with Allbrook, Shiny Joe Ryan, Steve Summerlin, and Richard Ingham.

The project released a debut full-length, entitled Mink Mussel Manticore, back in 2014 and were pretty active on the live circuit at one point, having played 100 shows in 2007 alone. Though quiet in recent years, it looks like they’ve finally reactivated.
