One of the country’s most consistently impressive acts, Sydney’s Seekae recently returned with new single ‘Turbine Blue’, and they’ve now released the accompanying video.

Directed by Kris Moyes, the video for ‘Turbine Blue’ is a reflection of the track’s sparse melancholy, a diverse cast of folk each imparting their own emotion in the iconic canals of the Los Angeles River. The last video to be filmed under the Sixth Street Bridge before its demolition, it’s classic Seekae – deeply emotive and impactful, while at the same time laidback and perfectly awkward.

Their first release as a group in two years (although its members have been busy with some brilliant solo efforts), we’re still left eagerly waiting to see if this track is the first hint of a bigger release, but we’ll content ourselves for now. ‘Turbine Blue’ is out now through Future Classic.
