Having released her self-titled EP in 2014, Nussy is back with her gorgeous new slow pop jam ‘Just Just’.
The Melbourne artist makes no effort to paper over her charming Australian inflection as she eases us into things over an extended buildup of warm, throbbing synth – a slow and steady ascension towards slightly darker textures that emphasise the thrust of the track: the slow realisation “that life is not a fairytale.”
Having kept busy on the live stage supporting LANKS, Yeo, Asta and Sophie Lowe, and you’ll be able to catch Nussy launching ‘Just Just’ with AYLA at the Penny Black on October 22.
