After the finalists for the 2016 Melbourne Music Bank were announced last month, the public got out and voted their hearts out and they’ve now been presented with their final four, who each represent the best in Melbourne music.

The four finalists of the Melbourne Music Bank competition as voted by Victoria’s music-loving public are Anna Oliphant Wright, Birdhouse, Bloom, and Tempus Sun, who’ll now perform at the official Melbourne Music Bank finale ceremony.

They’ll be performing at Melbourne’s famed Hamer Hall on 25th October, in front of an expert judging panel and the public. The judging panel, which is comprised of top representatives from the local music industry, will crown the final winner.

“We’re thrilled with the caliber of our 4 finalists – the public certainly got it right! We can’t wait to see them rock the Hamer Hall stage at the finale,” said Bank of Melbourne’s Head of Brand and Marketing Jac Phillips.

The winner of this year’s Melbourne Music Bank will be handed the keys to the kingdom, with the prize pack consisting of four days of recording at Melbourne’s The Studios In The City to record, mix and master an EP.

They’ll also get two film clips, album artwork, printed CDs, styling, media training, and a photoshoot for the release. The winner also receives management and mentoring by Matt O’Connor, publicity by On The Map PR, radio plugging by Varrasso PR, and gig bookings by 123 Agency.
