Brisbane quartet The Bear Hunt have just released the vid for their recent single ‘Who Made You God?’, filmed and directed by Ian Powne (of Stress of Leisure) – and by all accounts, there was a bit of improvisation involved.

The band were setting up to shoot at Via Studios when the lights blew, and they had to make do with what they could find, but the dark and gloomy result ended up suiting the mood of the track perfectly. They then crammed themselves into a tiny Toyota to hit the town for the rest of the footage, tackling bumpy roads and somewhat erratic driving to bring us this video – but from chaos comes art.

The Bear Hunt recently toured the new single across the country with a bit of help from Pretty City, Claws & Organs, The Aves, Wasters, The Goldhearts and Being Jane Lane. We’re hoping they didn’t have to pile into the hatchback for that one!
