Melbourne hip hop and R&B crew 30/70 have dropped a slick new clip by Rhys Newling, promising to deliver only the dankest of the dank – and doing exactly that.

Kicking things off with a heavy dose of chaotic jazz, they shift gears effortlessly, locking into a silken R&B groove before morphing into a third act of husky spoken word and off-kilter stabs of horn – a winding tour through their brilliantly varied repertoire.

Having impressed late last year with their debut LP Cold Radish Coma, they’ve been going from strength to strength in 2016, slaying it on the live stage again and again, including a sold-out show at The Gaso, and shows with Clever Austin and Swooping Duck of Hiatus Kaiyote, Remi, Sampa the Great, Vulture Street Tape Gang and a stack more.

If you haven’t caught ’em live yet, don’t miss their show at The Night Cat this Friday, “a boundless exploration through hip-hop, jazz, soul, electronic, dub & all else”. Yes please.
