Big Words are one of those groups who have been slaying it on the low in Melbourne for a while now, but have been biding their time before actually releasing some music. Now, they’ve finally let us in on their first single ‘The Answer’ – and they’re already off to a flying start.
Gorgeous, soulful efforts from vocalist duo William Scullin and Kieren Lee mingle with the boom-bap of percussion and glimmering guitar work in a vibrant fusion of soul, hip hop and R&B that’s been winning a dedicated cadre of fans in their home-town – not to mention some big names like Ghostface Killah, who invited Kieren up onstage with Wu-Tang Clan to show off his impressive freestyle ability to thousands more.
