In 2017, A Festival Called Panama will be celebrating its fourth year as one of the most underrated dates on Australia’s music festival calendar. Tucked away in Lone Star Valley in Tasmania, Panama is scenic celebration of local and international music.

Organisers have now unveiled their lineup for next year’s event, which is topped by acclaimed singer and songwriter Kurt Vile. Joining the former War On Drugs member will be Margaret Glaspy, D D Dumbo, Koi Child, Gabriella Cohen, Jack Grace, and more.

As always, there’ll be a feast of entertainment outside of the music lineup, including late-night cabarets and “storytelling from one of the world’s most celebrated radio producers set on the stage of a tiny wooden bar overlooking a forested mountain range”.

Speaking of feasts, there’ll also be a range of delicious local produce from the food stalls as well as superb Tasmanian wine on offer. You can also sample whiskeys, ales, and Panama’s very own Lone Star Cider pressed and hand bottled on site.
