We’ve been a fan of Sydney-via-London singer-songwriter Harry since premiering his earlier single ‘Baby Calm Down’, which saw a sold-out launch and made the rounds on Spotify’s New Music Friday.

Now, Harry’s back with a new one, ‘Epiphany’. Recorded at REC Studios and Arthur St Studios with help from producer Vincent Nydam, it nails the spacious, stadium melodicism of his inspirations in Coldplay or Arcade Fire.

“I started writing the song as a lonely little bloke,” Harry says of the new number, “which I had brought upon myself in search of a fruitful career as an artist. I had written half of a sombre song and then I met a girl who well and truly pulled me out of a rut.

“I think you can hear where I met her in the lyrics, around the time things sound optimistic. She is literally the other half of the song, feel free to interpret that as cheesily and metaphorically as you please.”

‘Epiphany’ gets its official release this Friday, and Harry will be taking it out on the road in November with his five-piece band The Harry Heart Chrysalis for a four-stop tour – dates below.
