Australia is already set to see its share of blockbuster tours in 2017, but we’ve just been given another planned trek from some absolute mega-legends – Cyndi Lauper and Blondie.
Cyndi Lauper and Blondie’s 2017 national Australian tour will be a world-first pairing of two iconic acts, who together gave us some of the most enduring hits of the ’70s and ’80s.
“Blondie were the true trailblazers of the New York City new wave and punk scenes. As a young artist, they had such a big impact on me. I just thought that Debbie was so cool,” said Lauper.
“She is still a hero of mine. I’m so excited to do this tour of Australia with them. We are going to have a blast!” This stellar lineup will play a string of arena gigs and A Day On The Green winery shows.
