Melbourne hip-hop crooner and R.E.A.L. Music head honcho Matthew Craig brings the smoky green visuals to his breezy, gloomy single, ‘Ivory’.

The tune’s hip-hop blend of jazz and soul sees Craig navigating an arcane forest wasteland to find a desolate hotel as the young rapper contemplates his surroundings through a haze of cigarette smoke amongst trickling keys and a ghostly vocal sample. Clad in a rain jacket and fedora, through a combination of a black and white and grainy colour footage, the visuals portray a classic one-shot 90s throwback vibe whilst still finding itself grounded in the days of Future, Young Thug and Migos.

After a solid year of support slots including two sold-out Bootleg Rascals dates and neo-soul goddess Thando, 2016 will finish with Craig performing alongside fellow up and comers Kirklandd and Netti at the Laundry in Fitzroy on Friday 9 December.
