Violent Soho are currently in the midst of one of the biggest tours of their career, taking on huge venues around the country with good mates The Bronx and fellow Aussie battlers Luca Brasi and Tired Lion.

They kicked things off on Friday with a hometown performance at Brisbane’s famous Riverstage. Judging by all of the reviews on social media, the gig was an absolute success, despite the fact that the band were almost late to the venue.

“Hey if the 180 is any later we’re going to miss soundcheck. check in with the driver and see what time he’ll be at Aminya st?” the band tweeted on Friday. Yes, Soho decided to ditch the limos and took the 180 bus to the venue.

TransLink did get back to the band, but by then they were already on their way to Riverstage. “It’s cool,” the band tweeted. “We’re on the 180 and should make it [in] time. Thanks for getting back to us though.”
