Just yesterday we saw triple j release the list of nominees for the 2016 J Award, and what a list it was.

With artists like Violent Soho, Camp Cope, and Julia Jacklin all nominated for the album of the year, it looks like it’s going to be a pretty tight race.

However, while plenty of amazing artists got tapped for a J Award nomination, there were plenty of great artists who didn’t. So, we decided to put together a list of the albums that we believe might have been overlooked by triple j and should’ve recieved a chance to contend for album of the year.
