Melbourne psych outfit The Ivory Elephant have stepped outside of their current oeuvre a little on new number ‘The Ballad Of Wild Bill’, instead taking a slightly more appropriate bluesey approach that nonetheless keeps a decent amount of fuzz flowing.

An ode to notorious gunslinger made famous by countless Westerns, the delta blues number is a gentle return to the band’s roots, but the slower pace also serves as a bit of also a bit of a breather during their rollicking sets.

Speaking of which, they’ll be heading out on tour throughout Victoria and Tassie shortly, dates below, and will be releasing their new album in 2017 via Berlin based label Kozmik Artifactz.
