‘Slinky Day’ is the new one from Sydney four-piece Black Springs, serving as the first taste of their upcoming debut album.

Heavily influenced by the guitar-heavy pop music of the ’80s and ’90s, they come packing the sort of lo-fi guitar jangle that’s seen them share the stage with bands like The Ocean Party and Teeth & Tongue.

Recorded by the band themselves and mixed by Caleb Jacobs (Plum), the new album is set for release in March. Until then, Sydney fans can check them out at the Vic on the Park Hotel in Marrickville, December17.
